Thousands of REC members give voluntarily to The Power of Change each month. Gifts can be a set monthly or one-time donation, or members can round up their bill to the next whole dollar. Then, these funds are granted to 501(c)3 organizations around the service territory twice a year.

 

 

On May 10,2024, REC had the honor of presenting Access Independence with a check for $2,000. These funds are to support the Fall Ramp Up, which provides wheelchair ramps and other mobility assistance for those with disabilities.

Our very own REC representatives, Casey Hollins and Tracy Woods, presented the check.

On May 1o, 2024, REC had the honor of presenting The Winchester Rescue Mission with a check for $5,000. These funds assist with providing emergency shelter beds for the new Valley Avenue homeless facility.

The Winchester Rescue Mission is located at 435 N. Cameron Street in Winchester, Virginia.

 

 

On May 10, 2024, REC had the honor of presenting Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum with a check for $5,250. These funds will go toward their virtual camps with special love serving children with cancer and their families.
