CHESTERTOWN, Md, – The #16 Shenandoah University field hockey team for the second went to overtime for the second straight game, unfortunately, the Hornets came out on the wrong side of the contest 2-1 to the Washington College Shorewomen.  The Hornets (2-2) got a goal from someone not named Cassidy Morrison for the first time this season after Mairead McKibbin found the back of the cage for the first time this season.  The Hornets got outshot 15-6, lost the corner battle 10-4, and spent most of the game in their territory.  Taylor Swann started in goal for the Hornets again and made eight saves in the contest but the two goals, one on a penalty stroke and the other coming off of a corner in overtime.
