HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University men’s soccer team picked up three points in the conference standings with four second-half goals to push the Hornets past EMU 4-0. The Hornets (10-5-2, 5-2-1) got goals from Niclas Vavra, Nathan Yared, Jarbin Rodriguez, and Xavier Thompson as Shenandoah has now earned a point in five straight games while winning their second consecutive game as the season winds down. The Hornets dominated possession and shots as the visiting squad fired 15 shots with nine of them coming on frame. Shenandoah also had the edge on corners, as the Hornets took 10 corners to the Royals two. Nathan Lynch started in net for the Hornets and only needed to make one save while picking up his third clean sheet.
