WINCHESTER, Va. – The Shenandoah University baseball team opened its 2025 season in dominant fashion, securing a two-game sweep over the defending NCAA Division III National Champions, No. 4 Misericordia University. The Hornets tallied 10 hits in both games while holding the Cougars to just five total hits throughout the series. Strong pitching performances and timely hitting proved to be the difference as Shenandoah outscored Misericordia 10-0 following an early deficit in Game 1.
