SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Shenandoah University men’s soccer team fell to Susquehanna 3-2 Saturday afternoon on the road. Playing with 10 men, the Hornets (4-2-1) got two goals from Nathan Yared late in the second half, but Shenandoah could not get the tying goal and fell to the River Hawks. Both teams were equal in total shots with the River Hawks having the edge 12-11, but Shenandoah did have the advantage on shots on goal (9-5) and corner kicks (9-6). Coming off the bench, Yared led the Hornets with three shots, all of which were on frame. Chinedu Ikem and Xavier Thompson were the other Hornets that had multiple shots, each with two. Nathan Lynch got the start in net for Shenandoah and made two saves while allowing the three goals.
